Lake Mburo National Park (1 hrs drive)-is one of Uganda's loveliest wildlife safari destinations.It is important for game viewing tours, Birding safaris, foot safaris (guided nature walks) as well as sport hunting.Lake Mburo National Park is a gem of a park, conveniently located close to the western highway that connects Kampala to the parks of western Uganda. At the center lies the great lake Mburo.

Lake Nabugabo- This is a popular lake found around Masaka, it is a nice spot for relaxation and getting a feel of the cool lake breese at the beache while enjoying it's relaxing atmosphere.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (7 hrs drive) - Almost half the worlds mountain gorillas live in this exquisite national park.The thick forest that covers nearly 300 square kilometers welcomes you as you approach Bwindi and it spreads out to numerous hills. The park has a dense ground over of vines and shrubs. Tourist activities carried out here include: Gorrilla tracking,Natural guided walks and bird watching.

Queen Elizabeth National Park (3.5 hrs drive) - This National park boasts of one of the highest biodiversity rating of any game park or reserve in the world.It has elephants, kobs, elands,elusive giant forest hogs, tree climbing lions and lots more.

Mgahinga (6 hrs drive)- Located on the slopes of the Viruga Mountains, in the extreme southwest corner of Uganda. Tourist activities carried out around this place include: gorrilla tracking,volcano climbing(3 peaks of the Viruga mountains),cavin and bird watching.
